With the lauch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 in Europe, UPDAY is expanding into a further ten European markets: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland.

The news service that links journalistic news curation and a learning algorithm is preinstalled on the Samsung Galaxy S8. It will be available in the Play Store for Samsung users from 10 April.

In the beginning of March 2017, UPDAY launched in Spain and Italy. With a total of twelve new markets this year, the number of editorial offices doubles from four to eight. In Berlin, London, Paris, Warsaw, for almost a month in Milan and Madrid, as well as shortly in Amsterdam and Stockholm, some fifty editors curate the most exciting and relevant articles for UPDAY users.

UPDAY CEO Peter Würtenberger: "When we started UPDAY, we aimed to create a news service that through first-class technology and excellent journalism brings together and personalizes the most important content of our publishing partners and makes it accessible to a large audience. We have already made good progress on this path. With the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S8, UPDAY is becoming a pan-European news service, and thus even more interesting for users and advertisers."
